my head freakin' hurts
The Wild life Sanctuary that I started working for is in a huge crisis. The founder and resident old crust, Joyce died last afternoon. |
Basically no one really knows what’s going to happen. With Joyce’s passing everything is uncertain, including the lives of over 400 cats that reside at the sanctuary.
If the place is seized then likely most of the cats will be euthanized.
I’m talking sweet old cats, young healthy ones, sick ones, kittens, special needs kitties.
This is my fucking nightmare.
If you know anyone who can take a cat or is looking this is the place to go. Rock bottom deals, friends.
I’m trying to convince my boyfriend to take 2 that I fell in love with. Both are sick grown up kitties.
I still have a job right now, and since it is a charity and a sanctuary it should hopefully be safe at least a bit.
Any help would be great. I’m going to take pictures and post adoption notices at my other job ( A&P)
Contact me if you want to help or have advise.

Quote: it was about starfish, but, i changed it to kitties
In Maine they tell of an old man walking along the beach with his grandson, who picked up each kitty they passed and threw it back into the sea. "If I left them up here," the boy said, "they would dry up and die. I'm saving their lives."
"But," protested the old man, "the beach goes on for miles, and there are millions of kitties What you are doing won't make a difference."
The boy looked at the kitty in his hand, gently threw it into the ocean, and answered: "It makes a difference to this one."
wait...i think i ruined it...
BASICALLY. it will make a different in the life of one poor kitty that needs help.
